Crash loop during loading off fresh install

Describe your issue.
I downloaded E9 from the Curseforge app, installed it, and pressed play to open the launcher. I supressed online safety warnings, and pressed play in the launcher (In other words, a completely normal installation process). When loading started on the black screen:
It stopped responding, and about 5 seconds later crashed
This happened 3 times, I closed curseforge and the launcher, reopened them, and it happened again.
I have not yet had a successful load of the pack
