Why would you like the mod added?

A friend made this mod after I suggested the silky idea but it might actually not be bad for modpacks! The idea is there’s uncommon trees scattered in the world whose wood is “dense” and gives a huge amount of planks and stuff when broken down by crafting. This helps cut down on people cutting down entire forests for wood and instead can just target these few trees instead. Might be worth checking out?

Interesting. Support for modded trees would be very nice.

I'm not sure I fully agree with the premise that it'll stop people chopping down huge forests when trees are already so easy to farm automatically. But I do see this as a fun little extra to stumble upon while out looking for other things.

I'd just like to second the suggestion. If we can get support for mod-added trees even better.

I'm also curious about the added challenge/benefit to using the enableSaplingToDenseTree setting such that tree farms using Create or Industrial Foregoing have to deal with another output for maximum efficiency - which could be fun 😄

A 1.19 version of the mod is yet to come out
it'll be out later today

I like it, hard to add when it's not on 1.19.2 though 😅

I'm working on the 1.19 version and it's almost ready, it should be on curse tonight ;)

Looks good to me, I would've liked to see more distinctive particles and mod support, but it's good as-is :D

Always up for suggestions, currently I'm just re-using some vanilla particles and from testing the glow particle looked decent. I could've upped the particle count but I didn't want to make it an eye sore

Suggestions in terms of compat?

Biomes You'll Go would already cover a lot, especially for us.

Ars Nouveau would be nice too.
