Describe your issue.
Ametrine Crystal received from ore when Mining Gadget was used. Initially noticed when opened to LAN (no others online), and recreated in standard Singleplayer. I am unsure of the differences between Singleplayer and LAN, so I have marked "Both" under "Did the issue happen in singleplayer or on a server?"
Upon recreation for the logs, it was discovered that Ametrine Clusters also drop crystals. The tool used was an atomic disassembler.

Used an end gateway and immediately ended up in a Viscal Isles biome. There's budding ametrine ore throughout the floating islands.
