What it does

This mod is an alternative to yosbr, preventingyour configs from getting overwritten at every pack update. It adds this gui, accessible from mod menu, which allows to update (copy the modpack config over the user ones) or reset (delete all the user configs and copy over the pack ones, like a factory reset)

Why should it be in the modpack

Compared to YOSBR (the current mod), it has:

  • A better folder naming convention (modpack_default instead of yosbr)

  • A user-friendly GUI that allows modpack users to update or reset configs avoiding manual edits

  • Support for NeoForge along with Fabric (not really relevant here)

  • (an hacky way of forcing a user config update or reset. Not really recommended, but it could be useful in case of some breaking change)

Why shouldn't it be in the modpack

Mainly the breaking change, but it's just renaming a folder
