What config to change

Attempt to increase zip compression for cf and multimc and test if it still works across launchers.
E.g. with https://www.advancemame.it/comp-readme.html or by 7-zip extract and compress.

Why should it be changed

Faster downloads for users... or at least MultiMC users.

Need to test how substantial the change is, maybe it's not worth the effort

Curseforge: 140kB -> 134kB, pretty pointless considering that CF Launcher must download mods individually anyway
MultiMC: 24901.7 kB -> 24859.4kB, even less gains haha
MultiMC auto-update: 109kB -> 109kB (few bytes difference)

Conclusion: not worth it.
