What it does

This mod shows you your hunger saturation which is vanilla friendly but very helpful and lag-free.

Why should it be in the modpack

It should be in the mod pack because it fits the vanilla feel (and thus the feel of the mod pack) but is still beneficial and useful. I, myself use this mod a lot and I would be happy if this would be made into this mod pack.

Why shouldn't it be in the modpack

no reason it fits perfectly

Additional details

nope

* AppleSkin - why should saturation be visible for everyone? how do you explain the concept of saturation to a 5-year old? 55-year-old?
[...]
Lolez (requester)
saturation is already in the game, just invisible. its basically just a second hunger bar and having it visible gives you a bit more information about your hunger
Madis0
that is true
but that doesn't mean people will understand what it is and how it works
if they would, it would have been added to the vanilla game already

but one of the goals of FO is that users should not have to learn anything new
it should be familiar to vanilla, Optifine, Forge users

Myself
So it's kinda OoS for FO because the user need to learn vanilla concepts that were hidden and never explained

As Julien quoted, I don't think AppleSkin is needed at the moment because the concept of saturation and exhaustion is not exactly obvious to everyone; flashing hearts and chicken chunks are also potentially confusing (even if very useful).
