8.1.0 crashes on CubeCraft after applying resource pack

Describe the bug

When connecting to the CubeCraft server, their resource pack starts downloading, which causes Minecraft to crash (it doesn't crash on vanilla Minecraft).

  • This bug report is about an issue with the modpack itself, I have not modified the mods nor added any resource packs. If this is not the case, I know that I should post the issue to modpack's Discord support channel instead.

Likely duplicate of #978 . Probably removing "Remove Reloading Screen" fixes it.

After removing the mod, Minecraft still crashes with error -1073740791.

Java errors are not very actionable, unfortunately. Try updating your drivers: https://wiki.download.fo/improving-performance

If I had to hazard a guess, I would assume that the problem could also be caused by GLdown, which downgrades your OpenGL version for use with older graphics cards. This mod is known to have certain resource pack compatibility issues. If you absolutely need this mod to even run Minecraft, try using one of the more maintained forks, like ForceGL2.0-Rempapped.

Indeed, I cannot reproduce the crash with pure FO 8.1.0 and GLdown is a mod specifically added by the user.
