Hey, I've been trying to setup a Galactic Science server, but get this error when running the server start.

Any help would be appreciated and I hope this wasn't a dumb question!

did you create the parent folder as root???
if yes this might fix it:
chown <your uname> ./<your_Server_folder>/**
this worked for me...

You have some file permission issues. Try running it as admin or on a different drive.

Nvm, looks like the installer jar is no longer working for some reason.
Download the latest installer from https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.7.10.html and replace it.
