Elemental Tools research from Thaumcraft is not possible due to certain Thaumium tools being disabled, locking off atleast 4 other pieces of research from Thaumcraft and addons.

Describe the solution you'd like
Thaumium Sword, Axe, and Shovel to not be given the "Disabled" gamestage.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Research Command would also be an option, they're locked after Boots of the Traveller, so a quest with a research command for ELEMENTALTOOLS would also work.

Additionally, Void Elemental Tools from Thaumic Additions are locked behind it aswell, for obvious reasons, but i don't have a screenshot of this.

Sideeffects will include: Infusion Enchantment being available, Runic Shielding being available, and alternative Ore location methods besides Divining Rods.

If I recall correctly, there is a later quest somewhere down the astral sorcery line that executes a command upon quest completion to give the missing tools research. Though yeah, this is a bit unintuitive/obstructive. -
nvm it's causality collapser quest with thaumcraft and I believe it retro-actively applies research (not ingame to verify) as I recall having the rest of the thaum tree after elemental tools unlocked
