THey are ores in the deep dark iirc. You need to void mine there for dark iron anyway, and so should get some if you do unfiltered mining.

The list of what you can get from void mining is the same as the list of ore veins. Only exceptions are

• Tellurium can be obtained from overworld vm
• Every ore can be obtained in deep dark
