Your Proposal

Change some battery's capacity as follows:

Battary Name Tier Capacity Before Capacity After Buff/Nerf
Gregtech Computer Cube IV 393,216,000 EU 49,152,000 EU Nerf
Proton Cell LuV 49,152,000 EU 393,216,000 EU Buff
Electron Cell ZPM 196,608,000 EU 3,145,728,000 EU Buff
Quark Entanglement UV 786,432,000 EU 25,156,824,000 EU Buff
Graviton Anomaly UHV 1,024,000,000,000 EU 1,677,721,600,000 EU Buff

Your Goal

The capacity of GT++ batterys are not well-balanced. This issue is intended to propose some suggestions to rebalance them. Reasons follows:

  1. Gregtech Computer Cube has a unreasonably high capacity - 393,216,000 EU. In comparison, Lapotronic Energy Orb, which is obviously more expensive than Gregtech Computer Cube, has 100,000,000 EU capacity - 1/3 of the latter.
  2. GT++ Orb Batterys are neither economical nor capable in LuV+ Tiers. The capacity of Proton Cell is even less than Gregtech Computer Cube. An LuV battery is less capable than an IV battery, which is weird. Similar examples exist, such as Electron Cell is more expensive than Medium Naquadria Battery but less capable.

This suggenstion focuses on setting GT++ batterys as a middle type of battery between simple batterys and lapotronic ones.

  • Simple batterys are cheapist. Make them only require players stuff some dusts into a shell. So its capacity should be the lowest. It starts from 6,400,000 EU (Small Sunnarium Battery, EV) and is multiplied by 4 every tier.
  • GT++ batterys is tedious for players, since it need the ABS and a lot of items that are useless in any other recipes such as wire coil, not to mention the data stick that needs to be scanned tier by tier. However, after those tedious steps, those battery can be made in several easy steps without recursive recipes. In this perspective, GT++ batterys are cheaper than lapotronic batterys that need amounts of Engraved Lapotron Chip and days and nights of Assemble Line crafting. Therefore, it should get a higher start - 49,152,000 EU (Gregtech Computer Cube, IV) - and be multiplied by 8 every tier.
    • Why the Graviton Anomaly is multiplied by 64 instead of 8? I thought it's a reward for those who try all this sh*t GT++ recipes and stick to the end for a totally useless battery - who really need a simple battery in UHV?
  • Lapotronic batterys, as mentioned above, require considerable amount time when crafted. In this way, they can enjoy their highest start - 100,000,000 EU (Lapotronic Energy Orb, IV) and be multiplyed by 10 every tier. Absolutely fair!
