Your Expectation

While supplying the Large Bronze Boiler with liquid fuels such as Seed Oil and Creosote (as indicated is possible through the quest book and JEI), I would expect the Large Bronze Boiler to produce Steam. I attempted waiting several minutes (which burned several million buckets of each fluid), but to no avail. I verified that the structure was correct by attempting to run the Large Bronze Boiler with solid fuel which worked without an issue. It was only with liquid fuels that there was an issue.

Additionally, unlike the solid fuels, the machine interface shows no progress indicator.

The Reality

The Large Bronze boiler only functioned when using solid fuels. While running on liquid fuels it will infinitely consume about 1 bucket of fuel per second (or more, unsure) while consuming no water and producing no steam.

Your Proposal

The Large Bronze Boiler should work properly with liquid fuels. Or, the quest book and JEI should be updated to indicate how it should function properly.
