Your Proposal

There are a bunch of machines that are not documented in game, or in the wiki, nor did I find explanations on Discord or Reddit (though I did find a bunch of people asking!).

They do have brief descriptions, but they don't do much IMO to explain what they do or how they vary.

Your Goal

Somehow document the following machines:

• Chest Buffer
• Item Filter (the block, not the item)
• Type Filter
• Regulator
• Super Buffer
• Item Distributor
• Recipe Filter

Your Vision

Ideally there would be quests for all these items, explaining the differences between them.

I have also seen a lot of speculation that some these machines are broken. I couldn't say if they are or not, because I have no idea what they do or how they work.

I am not sure where you looked tbh. chest/super buffer + type filter has a detailed quest, regulator has a dedicated quest. so has the recipe filter block.

😅 damn, I looked in NEI for all of them and no quests showed up. Is there a better way to search for that so I don't humiliate myself in the future?

I mean NEI works but they have multiple tiers of course. quest book also has a search function.

I will look into this and report back if anything needs done here then.
