its a bug, not a "suggestion". all other circuit default to anycircuit

probably alphabetical or something?

It was made like this intentionally so that recipes are easier to put in the pattern. Because since 2.7.0 you use universal circuits for crafting (instead needing to search for the correct circuit and putting in in the pattern manually)

as one of the people who did that: nope. this is neither intentional nor a bug. Just not something that was looked at or considered.

it also does seem to be alphabetical, so maybe its registration order. LV also uses IC2.

Lv works normal for me, universal circuits. Not 100% sure though, but im sure i never had to manually replace them
