It happened to me that I made the change to update 2.7.2 and then it stopped working. It is in 2.7.1 and it worked for me. It happens to me as soon as I launch the Minecraft launcher. I have tried several times and nothing, restart the PC. I tried to downgrade to 2.7.1 but it gives the same error.
For privacy, change my computer username to 'Name'
