Opening to LAN causes world to not open momentarily

Your Expectation
Opening a world to LAN for testing purposes, fixing quests, spawning items in survival, etc ... And attempting to rejoin the world after doing so.
The Reality
After rejoining with a world that is open to LAN, the world loads in with the game paused (as per usual) but after unpausing the game, the world would immediately crash sending an error and sending the user to the multiplayer menu.
Your Proposal
For the world to load without having to restart the game every time a singleplayer world is opened to LAN.
