Your Proposal
Make Air Filters better in LV-HV OR add a possiblity to deal with pollution from primitive blast furnaces.
- Even if it will cost me like 50% of EBF I will be ok with it.
- Even if it will be a multiblock (with no energy consumption) over primitive blast furnace it will be ok for me.
EBF almost always have work for something else instead of steel. Also it have no sense to use it for steel as you need a lot of energy for it instead of just coal. EBF is the worst decision for steel in LV-HV and still players have no way to deal with pollution from primitive blast furnaces.
Or do you just want players to just disable pollution in config? Give us a chance to play this modpack with this mechanic.
Your Goal
Make pollution mechanic more logical and balanced. It looks like Air Filter is not a popular structure among players in LV-HV. And now I know why... Solution of primitive blast furnaces problem will allow players to deal with more modern pollution problems by using Air filters. At the moment, instead of example of how good air filters are, players have an example of how bad they are...
Your Vision
Modpack will punish you if you will try to make air filters instead of just spamming tens of multiblocks in Hazmat Suit... You will lost a lot of time on steel and it's processing for Air Filters and you will get almost nothing.
I have 4 Air Filters multiblocks in center of 3x3 "dirt area" chunks. They all have steel turbines and basic LV setup and still I have negative effects on me (total of 1600 pollution if all multiblocks work). You can say, "make Mufflers and Hatches MV", but it means I need a source of constant 512 EU/tick. to deal with pollution of a few multiblocks.
