Change config to the dimension ID I want.
Save it.
Launch the modpack.
Generated a new world.
Spawn in expected dimension.
Upon death: spawn in expected dimension.

The Reality

After changing config option, it just spawns in overworld as normal on world generation. Same with death. I tried multiple different dimension IDs and none of them worked.

Have the config option correctly set the world spawn to the set dimension ID.
