Your Proposal
Currently, the EIG only accepts the primordial pearl seedbags with default (1/1/1) stats.
However the chance of getting a pearl, even with fertilizer, is extremely low.
At UHV, you have the option to use the crop sequencing/synthesizing machines to imprint a seedbag with better stats.
Your Goal
Increases the chance of getting a pearl while requiring a sufficient level of tech
At UHV, you could setup UV world accelerators, however this may have negative impact on tps.
Also, using the crop sequencing/synthesizing machines to level up is a more attractive and ultimately more rewarding game mechanic than powering one singleblock and just waiting.

More interesting gameplay
Rewarding for the player to invest in tech progression
Less spam of potentially negatively tps-impacting machines.
