Using a builders wand from either Extra Utilities or BetterBuildersWands on forestry should build more of that very same wood.

The Reality

The builders wands will both refuse to build more, going into creative reveals that they try to build Larch planks/wood instead, ignoring the metadata of the blocks they're trying to create more of.

Your Proposal

Properly handle the presence of metadata when using builders wands.
