Your Expectation

To be able to claim the vanilla ores with the proper amount of coins.

The Reality

If you click the Detect/Submit button in an ore exchange quest from the coins tab with the exact amount of coins and raw ore for the quest, the coins will go to the first retrieval task and the ores to the second one. This doesn't allow you to claim the vanilla ore. You can submit another set of coins and then you can claim the vanilla ores. If you have more than the required amount of coins, they will "overflow" the first task to the second. The extra coins are lost when the quest timer ends.

Your Proposal

I think the easiest solution is to make 3 tasks for these quests. 1 for the coins and 1 for raw ore or another one for the blocks.
This would fix the "overflow" issue if you use the full blocks with extra coins and would allow you to use only 1 set of coins if you use raw ores.

Final Checklist

  • I have searched this issue tracker and there is nothing similar already. Posting on a closed issue saying the bug still exists will prompt us to investigate and reopen it once we confirm your report.
  • I can reproduce this problem consistently by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.
  • I have asked other people and they confirm they also have this problem by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.

Yikes, that's annoying

The coins tab is going away in the next version, and is replaced by a vending machine, I think that don't have this particular issue.

Feature is set for 2.9, so a full stable with half of the coins being "voided" is quite terrible

even if the vending machine will remove this quest we should add a button or something similar to shoose which quest we choose and only this quest will eat up coins/items etc.
