Is it just me being blind or is there no option to craft regular planks by the colony, bith sawmill and forester won't produce planks. I've tried adding a recipe with a saw but it only works once as the durability somehow matters when using it to craft

This is a known issue within the modpack. The work around is you have to make the planks yourself then send them to your warehouse if you have one. The only other option that might work is having them make planks using only the axe, but that's very inefficient.
