Describe your issue

As the title says the minecolonies smeltery can not process raw iron to ingots as it should, I have seen that there is a previous ticket indicating that it is a bug and that there is no solution, because of this I thought if there is a way to re-enable the raw iron recipe in the furnaces because at this point in which I have more than 60 hours in my world is to fix this problem or drop the modpack completely.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Build a colony
  2. Build a smeltery in the colony
  3. Try to automate iron products
  4. Cry

This issue is due to the modpack changing the ore processing from being done in the furnace to the blast furnace. With recent changes that were made to Minecolonies, which allowed us to fix the issue with the carpenter making planks, it may be possible to do the same for the Smelter, however there are no promises here. This is something I believe the DEV staff is looking into.

I am very glad to hear that this is something that is on your mind and is planned to be fixed, I'm sure the dev staff will manage to fix it. However, due to the time constraints I am currently under, I would like to know if there is a temporary quick fix by modifying something in the config to re-enable the furnace recipe for the ores. I does not need to be fancy, just a basic workaround.
