Trying to join a multiplayer game and it gets stuck on the terrain loading screen. It still cycles through the loading screens, i can hear other people around me as if im in game nut my screen only shows the loading screen

Go into single player set all your settings to lowest they can be, render distance, graphics, turn off shaders, etc

Then try joining
