Considering how combat-light the mod is, do we really need them?

this is absolutely true. i just like collecting a bunch of colored hearts because it makes me feel like i make more progress than i actually am. also i have like 3 uncoated cables in my base that i keep dying on and instead of replacing them it would be cool to maybe survive them :P
