Since the only thing that forestry is used for is the workbench, would it be possible to hide the canned/en-capsuled liquids in JEI so they don't have to been seen whenever you are scrolling though JEI?

We could look into that. In the meantime, you can use JEI's item list edit mode to manually hide anything you don't want to show up in JEI anymore.
