Seems that if you break gregtech blocks (Wires or machines) via the AOE of a Diamond Hammer (Haven't tested others) it only drops the block that was in the center. Tested it with different machines (Hatches, compressors) and have only gotten the middle one. That was a punch in the face for moving from Overworld to Void 🤣.

Have you looked at the tooltip of an undamaged diamond mining hammer?

No worries. It's a bug in the old version of GTCE that was used in Omnifactory through version 1.2.2. We've known about it a long time and it's fixed in the development version which uses the latest version of GTCE.

No issues if it's already fixed, but I don't think that tooltip would have* prepared me for breaking multiple regular machines, since it specifies multi-blocks. Ah well thanks!

Yeah it was moreso a bug with Thermal Expansion mining tools not reporting the block breaking properly and GTCE implementing a workaround. You can see more about it here: GregTechCE/GregTech#1130
