Possible Recipe Error? Ender Pearl

Not sure if this is an intended recipe but it seems strange that you would need an Ender Pearl to craft an Ender Pearl...

And the Extraterrestrial Matter recipe requires an Ender Pearl which seems right
Possibly the Ender Pearl recipe in first image could use a different matter of some sort... ๐
Ender pearl can be found from loot in lost cities or dropped from enderman. For peaceful, ender pearl can be crafted from diamond + pulsating dust in an alloy smelter, and pulsating matter can be made from smelting uraninite. The recipe you have shown is the default recipe from DML.
There's more than one recipe for Ender Pearls. In peaceful, you would obtain ender pearls using pulsating dust and a diamond, with the pulsating dust coming from uraninite.
Like with Hellish Matter, you would only craft a few Extraterrestrial Matter in that manner to unlock your first model of that type, then thereafter you would use matter made by that model.
The hellish to extraterrestrial matter upcraft recipe is, AFAIK, exclusively to craft ender data models; it's not intended for use to craft back down into an ender pearl

Continuing with this, both diamonds and uranninite can be bought with coins and then smelted for their final products.
Then in retrospect then could the recipe be removed as to avoid confusion that would be a much better plan
I don't understand how it would be confusing when there are alternative ways to craft ender pearls that the questbook tells you about. Though I will admit, the first recipe in question is redundant because of the Pulsating Dust + Diamond => Ender Pearl

I understand the alternative ways I looked at every route that was available just as you said that recipe is redundant therefore IMO it should just be removed with a simple edit with CraftTweaker. I believe this can be done when you guys remove the Forestry Pulsating Dust
Consider this something of a tiny cleanup then
We're not removing pulsating dust, just the Forestry version of the item. We're preparing to remove Forestry because we barely use anything from it so it's a waste of RAM and loading time.
There is no reason to remove the matter-based recipe. It's entirely possible that someone might want to craft a few that way. You get Extraterrestrial matter from any model of that category, so it's not as circular as you think.
