Quest book genesis error

There are two versions of genesis, one of which is inaccessible and makes any progress impossible
This is possibly a duplicate of #922.
Are you playing Nomifactory or Tracer's unofficial port, Nomi-CEu? People keep reporting this issue to the wrong repository, and the reason for the problem there is the latest release of Nomi-CEu forgot to turn off edit mode in the quest book.
Then yes, this is a duplicate of #922. Please report issues with Nomi-CEu to Tracer's repository as this one is exclusively for tracking issues with the official pack.
