I had created the issue ticket to remind me about this problem. Admittedly I had forgotten about PR #562 being pertinent to this specific issue, but one problem with that PR is that it has merge conflicts with the current state of the file.

Well, it didn't have merge conflicts when it was created, and I elected to not bother fixing it yet as you or ALSON said it would be post 1.3 release.

Yes, the "code cleanup" type stuff I had been pushing to the backlog in the interests of focusing on more important items blocking the release of 1.3.

I understand that the merge conflicts are because of the age of the PR and subsequent changes having been made to the file. It's not a critique of your work, just merely noting something that needs to be addressed before merging the PR is possible.

Yeah ofc, it's ready to be merged now.
