Unless the plan was to actually nerf the recipes, then ignore. Ruby Ore is almost always better than the exquisite ruby available in micro miners due to the ore multiplication. As far as I could tell, this is the only renewable source of Chrome in the pack, and I don't think flawless/exquisite rubies serve any other purpose.

With higher tiered ore multiplication and overclocked byproducts, it'll be more rewarding for players to level up their infrastructure than just getting regular gems.

Exquisite Rubies give 8 Ruby Dust each if you cut them up in the Cutting Machine. Its about the same as a stack of ore.

It's actually not the same due to the byproducts.

One stack of ore can become one stack of chrome, which is equivalent to actually 8 stacks of exquisite ruby.
