Description:
I think I figured out why armor pieces sometimes randomly un-equip in Nomifactory (and get lost when TPing)

It appears to happen with:

  • Draconic Evolution armor
  • Default config when you hit TAB to auto-complete when chatting

When going to:
Game Menu => Options... => Controls => Search Refill Last + Refill Last (Stack)
And unbinding these x2 (Configure to None)

It appears to be solved 🙂

Expected Behavior:
Armor staying on when auto-completing text with TAB.

Steps To Reproduce:

  • Wear Draconic Armor
  • Open Chat, hit TAB to auto-complete

Sounds like a desync between the client and server resulting from inventory tweaks twiddling your inventory slots or something. Not sure there's any fix for this beyond suggesting the same workaround if someone else is affected by it. This is the first time in three years since the release of 1.2.2 that anyone has reported it.
