The Ebin Reactor is a staple of OmniFactory, but it's only known through this discord. I think having a quest that incentives the creation of said reactor would make more people attempt to build it and possibly make more players aware of it.

I'm a bit averse to the idea. While NC designs frequently converge to either an Ebin reactor or a cryolattice, the goal with the quest book is to show the player the various components that may be used in a reactor and allow them to come up with a design. We do elsewhere in the book point the player towards our community guides, so they are likely to discover the Ebin and cryloattice designs without further involvement.
