Currently, plates, rods, and gears serve almost no function. They were introduced as part of Immersive engineering and Thermal foundation, but until I add later game content they have no purpose.

I would like to give these each a purpose, even prior to the end game being unlocked.

At present, I am adding in metal press recipes.
