
Rods, Gears, Plates, Wires, Dusts

Goals
Ultimately I would like to have consistency across mods, such that all metals have the following forms:
- nugget
- ingot
- block
- dust
- plate
- gear
- rod
- wire
Additionally, I would like all of these forms to be valuable in some way; for each to be involved in at least one recipe.
Some will only become valuable once I begin adding end-of-game (or, really, after-game) content, such as thermal machines, and begin to exercise finer-tuned control over RFTools.
Some of it can already be integrated, but has not yet been: For instance, ensuring the crusher can make dusts/grit of all varieties from ore and ingots (for ore duplication),
Some has already been integrated, such as using lead and silver wires and plates as a component of ancient Pokeballs, or in how electrum gears are now part of astral sorcery structures.
Present State
At Least some forms are not available for:
- Tinkers Archery Metals
- Botania Metals
- Most Wires
- Some Dust Melting Recipes for dusts already in the game (ie lead dust)
There is very little integration between these components. Recently I have....
- Added Metal Press recipes through CraftTweaker
- Added Resources (Graphics) for all parts already in the game (this is a tedious process and slows down the adding other components)
- Added Earth Charge recipes for ingots to dust.
Some things I might add in the near future
- Immersive Engineering Crusher integration
- Ore duplication through using Earth Charge recipes on ore (Earth Charges presently serve no real purpose aside from getting us cinnabar yet).
- Giving a purpose to different Rods as the handles for high level tools.
