In terraria, music is constant. In Minecraft, music disappears for who knows how long. It gets really quiet and eerie some times.

Perhaps add the Constant Music mod. From the description:

With Constant Music, you can reduce or completely eliminate the amount of delay Minecraft adds between playing background tracks. It defaults to 0 seconds, which results in the next track playing immediately. But feel free to set it higher if you desire!

You're able to change the delay in the config settings:

At some point the music may seem repetitive... perhaps there's a way to add more music to the list somehow.
