I'm halfway through copper ingot generation, and there doesn't seem to be a good way to generate energy other than spam Create windmills/waterwheels, which I don't think the modpack is about. Is there a way that I didn't see, or is there simply not ?

The process of making copper requires two maxed windmills. Both windmills and waterwheels are pretty cheap to make. If you have any suggestions, feel free to ask :).

I was thinking of something to make energy with the byproducts of making lubricant

That stuff is the main quest of the later updates after getting steel :)
