Describe the bug

So at one point on this server with my friends I was able to travel to the nether and aether just fine. But randomly it stopped working and the portals would be stuck on the swirling particles and would never get a loading screen. I've tried removing gamestages and command giving them back as well as manually earning them back. We've removed some of the DAT files but it is still not working.
