Describe the bug

An unholy amount of plagued corrupted endermen/plague beasts/ithaqua spawn around me, making the game unplayable. This ruins the game for others as well, as I can't even teleport to someone without surrounding their base in an impenetrable fortress of plague monsters that don't despawn. I disabled plague (turned the duration to 0) but that seems to have only affected players. The mobs still hit just as hard.

To Reproduce

Log in to server. Be anywhere in the End or the overworld past the Beneath's progression.

Expected behavior

Normal amount of mobs.

Very little config was changed, mostly just plague duration which didn't help.
