[BUG] Statistics tab in pause menu does not work and throws error

Describe the bug
Attempting to open the statistics tab in the pause menu will leave you with a screen that perpetually says "Downloading statistics..." and throws an error.
To Reproduce
Attempt to open the statistics tab in the pause menu.
Expected behavior
Your in-game statistics display properly.

Here's my crash report, but I assume it's the same case of not providing any useful information. This issue is still replicable as of v.3.1.1a.
