Describe the bug

I was trying to make a slab for my stone anvil for dust, but it wasn't popping up when making it with Shale cobblestone, so I thought slabs had a different recipe. But I soon found out that the cobblestone does not share the rest of the crafting recipes with all the other stone including smelting.
