They are just plain stupid.
It's fine to spawn them like that when I have everything to make it work.
There's a bed quest but no silkworms so I have to kill mobs at night, but I don't have items to do so efficiently. Mobs hit like a truck (6 hearts of damage through a tinker's shield and that one just doesn't block their hits)
Frustration is the main reason lots of packs (not just packs but entire games ... look at why Wildstar failed) don't get played.
