Fall distance is not reset when you climb using the spider buff from Totemic

Bug Description
If you use spider totems in place of ladders you can be in for a whopping amount of damage when you touch the ground if you fell a distance before clinging to the wall. Ladders and water both reset your fall distance in addition to stopping your fall. It seems the spider ability only stops your fall. This means that the player will experience seemingly random damage when they do touch ground. I honestly first thought this was an issue with lighting in the beneath for a while because this was the first time I'd used the totem to climb long distances.
Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?
I haven't tested other versions.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
- Set up a totem ladder like this (It doesn't need to be in the beneath. Also ignore the uncarved logs; I was in the process of adding bats to the totems):
- Fall down and catch yourself on the pillar.
- Continue to the bottom.
- Take damage when you touch the ground.
