Bug Description

I died while (volar) kiting around the Twilight Forest. I haven't made any bed but did set my spawnpoint in the overworld on my home island using the sleeping mat (which I keep on me/backpack and haven't ever re-set the spawnpoint). After death it said my bed was missing/obstructed and proceeded to respawn me at the TF portal, however it's about 15-20 blocks below it and I just fall into the void time and again. Cheats are disabled. I even tried to open to LAN in spectator and creative mode but cannot fly away or get out of this infinite loop.

Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?
