I can not seem to find coal samples i have searched well over 10 000 blocks in each direction from base

Bug Description

Coal samples can not be seen, not onn mountains, not on plains and not in any other biome.

Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?

i did not have the previous version

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

1. make world
2. reach age 1
3. coal samples dont exist

it was just being unlucky i found a bunch of coal and coal samples on the side of a mountain
