Sevtech ages of the sky Local/Lan multiplayer help/support please:

So me and my friend was playing Local/Lan using IPV4 direct connect 3 days ago and it worked flawlessly but yesterday it refused to connect to his world and i got an error message saying: io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception. And i tried reinstalling the mod, turning my firewall off, setting up my own server (didnt work), restarting my computer, turning off the router, trying the ethernet cable, checking the java, making sure we both ran the same exact forge. One thing i took note of was that his IPV4 address changed from last time.
