"Something is taking too long", startup issue on Sevtech ages and other packs recently.

Bug Description

Every time I launch Sevtech Ages it progresses through the usual loading sequence before it seems to get stuck at 'Phase 3' of loading, but the problem seems irregular.

As I've managed to launch and play fine quite a few times, I've always had it allocated to about 8-9GB of RAM and have played the modpack before comfortably just a few days ago.

Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?

Honestly not too sure.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Launch
  2. Wait for certain point of loading

  • Modpack Version: 1.12.2
  • Java Version: I've tried to use 17 & 8, both don't change my issue.
  • Launcher Used: CurseForge
  • Memory Allocated: 9120MB
  • Server/LAN/Single Player: Server
  • Optifine Installed: No
  • Shaders Enabled: No

World Information

  • Modpack Version world created in: No clue.
  • Additional Content Installed: None.

Hi! I have encountered the same exact scenario, waited for 10 minutes and then got stuck on 6/7 craft tweaker for 30 minutes, then closed. My solution is: start the game and do not touch ANYTHING. Just leave your PC for 10 minutes and do something else. No switching between windows, no clicks, just nothing, and it seems to boot just fine.

Ку! Столкнулся с похожей проблемой зависания. Лаунчер зависал на 2/7 фазе, на моменте пре-инициализации AbyssalCraft.

Помогло временное отключение сетевого адаптера в панели управления (интернета).
