Bug Description

when attempting to launch the modpack it crashes and the log keeps saying

i think i did everything correctly so im not sure why this issue is here

The pack requires minimum 6GB RAM allocated to run. Your log cuts off, but I would start with increasing your RAM.

i tried it again with like 10gb and with 30gb but it still crashes at the exact same point

Is that the only log you have? No crash log or a longer log? In the log you posted there is nothing out of the normal besides it just cutting off.

Some people have had issues with the Curseforge Launcher resetting their RAM allocation, make sure its reflected on the top bar when loading the pack.

In the Curseforge launcher right-click on the modpack and Open Folder there you should see a logs folder and possibly a crashreports folder

there is no crashreports folder and there is 7 logs in the logs folder i dont use github much so if dragging the files into this comment doesnt work ill put them in pastebin

Those would just be older logs.

I asked this in #439 since their issue looks exactly like yours. They were able to get the pack to work in another launcher, but I wonder if you can try to clean install an older version like 5.0.6 from the version tab and see if that works, since both of you are fresh 5.0.7 installs.

also if it matters it says error code 1 and it crashes during scanning mod

i tried 5.0.6 and 5.0.2 and both didnt work

Can you try another launcher like Prism Launcher, GDLauncher, or ATLauncher and see if they work? Just make sure to use correct Java version and RAM settings

i tried tloader and it seems to work

its already gotten past the point it usually crashes

So same as #439 seems to be isolated in the Curseforge launcher, interesting.
