Bug Description

I don't know if its a feature, a bug or a restriction by the pack devs, but pipes and hoppers from any mod cannot interact with the barrels for liquid+item recipes. (eg. color dye + water + sand).
There is the Deployer option to go around this but it does make automated setups way more complicated and potentially performance impacting on servers if these setups are scaled too much (per player).

Did this behavior used to work in the previous version?

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

1. Add water to a barrel with a pipe - It works as expected
2. Add a colored dye in the barrel with a pipe/hopper - no interaction
3. Add sand to the barrel with a pipe/hopper - no interaction
