Launcher crashes during install

When I launch the game for the first time, it crashes before it is able to install anything.
Versions:
All 1.20 versions (only tried with 1.20) via CurseForge launcher
Things I have tried:
- Increased RAM to ~16 GB on a 32 GB machine
- Uninstalled/reinstalled
- Different modpack versions
- Installed release version of Minecraft for each version supported
